I have the exact same problem. Before I moved out to the U.S, I was offered a really well paying job as an electrician in the biggest airport in Ireland (great benefits, flights, great pension, lifetime job). So after jumping through all the hurdles, IQ tests, interviews, selection processes, I was offered the job, out of 1500 people I got it. I was delighted, but then I went for my physical and found out I was color blind using that exact test. Apparently it’s dangerous to offer Electrician jobs to color blind people. “No, not the blue…. BANG”.
