Mac-ified Firefox
I have given up Safari in favor of good old Firefox. I found that while Apple’s browser is quite fast and integrated to Mac OS X, it is prone to crash (especially on pages that use the Flash plugin) and lacks the handy extensions I had got used to on Mozilla. Not to mention the Gecko rendering is more widely supported than KHTML/WebKit… It’s a shame that Camino does not support extensions (yet?).
Thankfully, Neil of BeatnikPad has made optimized Firefox builds for Intel Macs which include Firefoxy widgets. Add a GrApple theme and you’ve got a completely Mac-ified Firefox!
In other news, Anne is here. Pics on Flickr are forthcoming. Oh and… did I find a job? Yup, looks like I did! I’ll start work for [company name suppressed] as a contractor on September the 11th, from here in Texas. Two weeks later, after my grandpa’s birthday party, I’ll be driving west to settle close to their Silicon Valley HQ. California, here I come!
