Road Trip: Day 3

567 miles to Lost Hills, California. 1615 miles from start, less than 210 remaining until arrival in Sunnyvale.

Today’s motto: minimal stops. Did a little convertibleness in the desert. Yelled “Yahoo!” upon crossing the state border. Agricultural inspector asked if I had any fruits or vegetables, I replied that I considered beef jerky to qualify. Got lost at the end around Bakersfield, but eventually found my way to I-5 and the aptly named Lost Hills - in fact just a truck stop.

Clicky’s noises have moved from seat-belt to driver-side door, then to tires, trunk, and all over the place. Maybe because roads in California are not exactly in a good shape… and people speed anyways! Plus exhaustion: must get some sleep.
