5.6 mag quake shakes the Valley
We more than felt it, to us it seemed like the end of the world.
From Valleywag:
A moderate earthquake shook the Valley at 8:04:54 p.m [on Tuesday, October 30th, 2007]. The magnitude 5.6 event occurred 9 miles northeast of downtown San Jose, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. […] this is the largest quake to hit the Bay Area since Loma Prieta in October ‘89.
No visible damage nor injuries to report, but I am uneasy each time an aftershock hits… I have noticed at least 3 since yesterday.
